Both are the best quality for the price we know, for beginners and pros alike. On a tight budget the Echo is solid, just less forgiving while you learn.

Every diabolo we sell, from the 24 € Sundia Echo 2.0 to the magnetic Magforce and the limited editions. Sundia is the Taiwanese brand behind the modern diabolo: the stability ring, the ball-bearing axle in 2005 and the magnetic bearing in 2021, and DiaboloFocus is its official importer for Europe, so every part is in stock with the diabolo.
How to choose
Decide the axle first: a fixed axle grips the string and is the home of the classic tricks and two-diabolo play; a bearing axle spins much longer on one pull for vertical play and long combos. Then the model: in Europe the EVO G2 with soft cups is our first choice at every level, the Echo 2.0 the school and budget model, the Magforce NX the bearing we would buy ourselves.
