Safety Information
Diabolo equipment is intended for juggling and performance use. Use requires coordination and skill; beginners should learn under appropriate guidance.
- Hard-cup diabolos: Engineered plastic cups can crack upon impact. Avoid use in temperatures below 5°C (41°F) and on hard, abrasive surfaces (concrete, asphalt).
- Handsticks: Carbon-fiber and fiberglass sticks can splinter if damaged. Inspect regularly and replace if cracks or delamination are visible.
- LED diabolos and light-up accessories: Contain batteries and electronic components. Do not immerse in water. Follow battery safety instructions.
- Fire equipment (if sold): Intended for experienced performers only. Use only in safe, open environments with appropriate fire safety precautions and supervision.
- Small parts (strings, bearings, axle components) may present a choking hazard for young children. Keep away from children under 3 years of age.
Always inspect equipment before each use and discontinue use if damage is detected.

If you believe a product poses a safety risk, please contact us immediately at info@diabolofocus.com. We will investigate and, if necessary, report the issue through the EU Safety Gate (formerly RAPEX) system.
Packaging and Environmental Compliance
Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR): Germany & France
Verpackungsgesetz (German Packaging Act)
DiaboloFocus participates in a dual system for the collection and recycling of packaging in accordance with the German Packaging Act (Verpackungsgesetz, VerpackG). Our shipping packaging (boxes, padding materials, tape) is registered with the Zentrale Stelle Verpackungsregister (ZSVR) via the LUCID register, and we have a system participation agreement with a licensed dual-system operator for the recycling of packaging that reaches private end-consumers.
Packaging Disposal
Please dispose of our packaging materials in accordance with local recycling regulations. In Germany:
- Cardboard boxes: Paper recycling (blue bin / Altpapier)
- Paper filling: Paper recycling (blue bin / Altpapier)
- Plastic bags (when used for small accessories): Packaging recycling (yellow bin / Gelber Sack)
- Adhesive tape: Residual waste (Restmüll)
WEEE: Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
Products containing electronic components (such as LED-illuminated diabolos) are marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol, indicating they must not be disposed of with household waste. Please return used electrical products to designated collection points or contact us for disposal guidance. As required by the ElektroG, we accept returns of waste electrical equipment free of charge.
Batteries
Some of our products contain batteries (e.g., LED diabolos with rechargeable lithium-ion or button cell batteries).
- Do not dispose of batteries in household waste. Batteries must be returned to designated collection points or returned to us free of charge.
- The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol on the battery or packaging indicates the obligation for separate disposal.
- Where applicable, batteries may contain: Pb (lead), Cd (cadmium), Hg (mercury). The chemical symbol is marked on batteries containing more than the permissible threshold.
France Packaging
For shipments to consumers in France, DiaboloFocus participates in the household packaging EPR scheme (filière REP emballages ménagers) operated by LEKO SAS, in accordance with the French AGEC law and Article L.541-10-3 of the Code de l’environnement.

Our shipping packaging carries the Triman pictogram and accompanying sorting instructions (info-tri) as required for products and packaging placed on the French market.
Other Countries
