About this video

MUSIC: A Night and A Day by Pepe Deluxé - Radio Edit I had this idea that popped into my head back in February that biting the string would offer twice as many combo possibilities, as it gives a new way of dividing the string. I've waited awfully long for good weather and the opportunity to go and film this project, and I'm quite satisfied that it's finally up here on Youtube. The tricks in here are quite basic and it seems like you could easily explore the concept more. _________________________________________________________________

Thanks to the cameraman, Etienne, who helped me a lot and got the opportunity to discover all the hidden details of a good tripod. It also felt quite natural to combine biting the string with Henri Kangas's "Click" releases. Thanks to him for inspiration! Fun fact : about two months after having "invented" that short series of tricks, I came across two Videos of the Week from Luke Burrage dating back to 2004 where he actually explains the same concept. Here they are : • Diabolo.ca VotW: 26 december 2004, Luke • Diabolo.ca VotW: 23 january 2005, Luke
