YoYoFactory 99 Dragons – Bi-Metal Dual-Shell Yoyo

The 99 Dragons takes the idea behind the Nine Dragons and pushes it further. Its outer shells spin independently from the inner body, so you can hold the yoyo mid-spin and keep playing: sliding grinds, body contact spins, horizontal moves that a standard yoyo simply cannot do.

What is new is the bi-metal build. Stainless steel rings sit on the outer edge of the aluminium body, putting the weight where it counts. The result is longer spin times, more stability through complex tricks and a powerful feel on every throw.

For diabolo players, this will feel strangely familiar. The isolated shell behaves much like a bearing diabolo axle: the outer surface stays in contact with your hand while the core keeps spinning freely underneath.

Fully unresponsive, with a Large Center Trac bearing and CBC 19 mm slim pads. 75.7 g, 62.63 mm across with the shells on (59.11 mm without) and 48.8 mm wide. Built for long 1A string tricks that need spin time and precision. Expect it to be a little louder than a standard yoyo: that is the shells at work.

If the Nine Dragons got you curious, this is the version that spins longer and hits harder.
