Gustavo Luna

I'm Gus, a Mexican diabolo enthusiast. My journey with the diabolo began at age 10 when my father gifted me my first one. While I started young, it wasn't until I was 15 that I truly dedicated myself to the art – admittedly, sometimes prioritizing practice over my high school classes (not my proudest moment, but it shaped my path). This passion quickly became all-consuming.
During this time, I met Mau, who became my mentor in diabolo. I also connected with many fellow Mexican players, leading me to co-found 'Diabolo México.' Together, we organized numerous events in Mexico City, produced collaborative videos, and established a Facebook page that brought together most of the diabolo players in Mexico and several others across Latin America.
Currently, I'm pursuing a Master's degree in Biotechnology. Diabolo remains my dedicated hobby – a passion I will never abandon. Having spent more of my life *with* a diabolo in my hands than without, it's an enduring part of who I am, and I absolutely love it.
