The Best of Every Sundia, in One Diabolo

The Magforce NX Fixed Axle is a ground-up build that pulls the strongest trait from across the entire Sundia range into a single model. Soft, grippy cups in the spirit of the MHD, a crisp rim edge like the Evo, a wide-angle opening from the Magforce line, and a textured low-friction ring area borrowed from the Falcon and Fly combined here for the first time, with none of the compromises of any one model.

Wide-Angle Design

The NX is a ground-up redesign that deliberately abandons compatibility with conventional parts. It's the largest Sundia diabolo with a newly developed small washer, giving it a slim profile that sinks deep into the center. The larger body drives more mass to the outer edge, generating stronger centrifugal force for overwhelmingly longer, more stable rotation.

The Tallest Sundia Ever Made

The NX stands 5mm higher than most models in the range, making it the tallest Sundia diabolo to date. That extra height translates directly into catch margin, a taller silhouette gives you more room to land the axle, forgiving slightly off-center returns that would clip a shorter cup. For technical combos and high-throw recoveries, the added vertical clearance is a real, felt advantage.

Deep-Curve Cups, Zero Interference

The hollowed-out center opens up genuine clearance for the string as it travels back and forth, so it's far less likely to catch the cup and tilt the diabolo. And when the string does make contact, a gentle U-shaped slope guides it smoothly back toward the center. The NX ships with durable carbon washers that shed weight without sacrificing centrifugal force. 

Reduced String Friction

A coated ring lowers friction against the string for smoother acceleration, cleaner corrections, and more responsive movement. Paired with the wide cup opening, catches land easier and string contact stays crisp throughout technical sequences.

Redesigned Hubs and Washers

The NX runs an all-new hub-and-washer system. The hubs are larger, shaped to clip precisely into the contour of the cup for a locked fit. The washers use a tighter diameter than the rest of the range. This is a deliberate break: NX hubs and washers are not universal. They fit the NX and only the NX, and standard Sundia parts will not fit in return. It's the price of a tighter, purpose-built assembly and it's what lets every part of the NX work as one system rather than a set of shared, compromised components.

The Next Evolution

NX stands for "next" — the next generation of the Magforce series. Marking Sundia's 26th anniversary, the NX isn't a simple revision but a ground-up rethink of structure, feel, and player needs. Building on a lineage that runs from the first ball bearing diabolo in 2005 to magnetic bearing technology in 2021, it advances the art of diabolo with a redesign focused on stability, handling, and all-round performance.
